Rumors of Apple developing a car, known as Project Titan, began back in 2014 when CEO Tim Cook reportedly gave his approval to the project. Even Apple co-founder Steve Jobs wanted to design an “iCar.”
However, in February 2024, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported that Apple had canceled their car project. This was the clearest hint yet that the car was real and might one day be released.
Then, in May 2024, news broke that Apple might be teaming up with electric vehicle company Rivian. What this means, however, isn’t exactly clear, and the information could be false or confused with something else, such as an Apple CarPlay deal.
