The new phone is powered by the A15 Bionic chip, which enables advanced camera features, Smart HDR 4 and Deep Fusion, plus fast processing power. Other new features include a no-notch display for unobstructed viewing, 5G support, Touch ID, and improved durability.
According to Apple, the A15 Bionic consists of two powerful processors and four efficient processors for blazing fast speeds and CPU-intensive games. The unique construction is said to provide longer battery life.
A big focus for the iPhone SE is the camera. The briefly mentioned Smart HDR 4 enhances color, contrast, and exposure based on the camera's target and background. Deep Fusion uses AI to further enhance photos with per-pixel processing for detailed textures. Videos shot on the SE will have less noise and improved white balance.
