Apple has warned its users about a zero-day bug being exploited by malicious people.

The exploit, named CVE-2021-30869, affects both Mac and iPhone users, but Apple has been quick to release patches to fix the issue.
The bug was not discovered by Apple, but by members of Google's Threat Analysis Group and Project Zero teams, which wanted to protect users from hackers and zero-day vulnerabilities.
Apple has not commented on the vulnerability or shared any details, other than to say it allowed hackers to “…execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.” According to Help Net Security, the vulnerability affects the XNU, the heart of macOS and iOS.
