Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders officially went live Friday morning, but customers have reported long wait times for actual shipments, according to MacRumors. Consumers are saying that certain brands of Apple's new wearable won't launch until November. These longer delivery estimates are impacting certain aluminum and steel configurations.
It’s hard to say which configurations won’t ship until November, as there are so many materials, colors, band styles, and sizes to choose from. In some cases, choosing a different band style or color can push the estimated delivery date back by over a month.
It's also interesting to note that the company didn't immediately release full pricing information, forcing consumers to make purchasing decisions once pre-orders went live. Instead, Apple only stated that the Apple Watch Series 7 would start at $399.
