However, according to noted Apple leaker Jon Prosser, many sources are saying that a release is just around the corner.

According to Prosser's sources, we can expect pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 7 to begin next week, with shipping beginning in mid-October. If that turns out to be the case, the newest Apple Watch will likely land on consumers' wrists in time for Halloween. How's that for a treat?

Prosser also indicated that Apple has begun reaching out to the press about review units, and that they will be looking to share more details "in the coming weeks." This suggests a release date is approaching, but there's no specific timeline yet.
