This article explains how to open and play an ARF file with Cisco's WebEx Player and how to convert the file on your computer.
How to open an ARF file on a PC or Mac
An acronym for Advanced Recording Format, a file with the extension .ARF is a WebEx Advanced Recording file that is downloaded from Cisco's WebEx conferencing application. These files contain the video data that was created from the recording, as well as a table of contents, participant list, and more.
WRF files are similar, but that file extension is used when the WebEx session is recorded by the user, while the ARF file extension is reserved for downloaded recordings.
To download your recording in ARF format, go to My WebEx > My Files > My Recordings and select More > Download next to the presentation you want.
