Assassin's Creed Shadows: Official World Premiere Trailer
Ubisoft confirmed the name of its upcoming game with a short video uploaded to Twitter/X today, seemingly confirming the title's setting: Japan. The world premiere of the official cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed Shadows will go live on May 15 at 11 a.m. CT, giving fans their first glimpse at the upcoming game.
Insider Gaming has reported that the game is expected to have two protagonists, a samurai and a ninja, both with different combat mechanics, with stealth being the key to survival, as in every game in the franchise. The male samurai is expected to be an African refugee who has learned the ways of these shadow warriors and will follow the Assassin's Creed in their mission, according to Insider Gaming. The report also suggests that Assassin's Creed Shadows will be entirely focused on stealth.
Another report from Insider Gaming claims that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will feature a settlement similar to Valhalla. This new settlement, reportedly called the Hideout, will feature a dojo, an armory, and other customizable options that the player can change at any time. The player will be able to choose where the Hideout will be located, as well as what weapons will be displayed within it, according to the Insider Gaming report.
