Ubisoft has finally announced the release date for the next installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise, bringing the shadows back to Japan in an exciting way.
Assassin's Creed Shadows: Official World Premiere Trailer
Clear your calendars this year, because Assassin’s Creed Shadows officially releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on Friday, November 15. It will be the 14th title in the main series, but brings back a familiar mechanic with its two protagonists of opposing origins.
Naoe and Yasuke are two skilled warriors who live in the late Azuchi-Momoyama period, according to IGN, with the former boasting speed and cunning as a shinobi assassin and the latter as an iconic samurai. With the two joining forces to usher in a new era in the land, players will be able to experience two different playstyles at once.
Unlike Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, where you must choose one of two available characters to play as, would-be assassins can switch between Naoe and Yasuke. Whether you prefer to sneak around enemy bases and strike from the shadows or kick down the front door and swing a giant club, each character will tell a different story and require a different level of skill expression.
