Ubisoft recently confirmed the name of its upcoming title, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, set during feudal Japan. Now it appears the game's release date and pricing schedule have leaked ahead of time, two days before Ubisoft was set to share a trailer.

Assassin's Creed Shadows: Official World Premiere Trailer

Prominent and reputable leakers over on X (formerly Twitter) have revealed the potential release date and DLC pricing for Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Ubisoft's latest addition to the long-running franchise. Wario64 shared a screenshot from the YouTube premiere of AC: Shadows today, with a description that suggests the game will release on November 15th. Huge AAA titles typically launch in the fall of each year, with the last two AC games releasing in October and November respectively. Another reputable leaker, Frax, shared information regarding AC: Shadows' DLC pricing schedule, with two expansions potentially set to cost $25 each.

Frax also revealed that AC: Shadows may have a $40 season pass, a $35 "Welcome Pack" that includes a hefty chunk of in-game currency, and implied that the game may feature purchasable currency packs. These will reportedly cost players between $5 and $50 depending on the bundle, similar to how it's been in recent Assassin's Creed games. These are all unofficial and pre-release leaks, however, and are subject to change.

AC: Shadows has been in the gaming sphere for over a year, previously known as Codename: Red. The game will be revealed with a cinematic trailer on May 15th and may feature a female protagonist. It will mark the fourteenth main series in the company's largest franchise, which has been released almost annually since 2007. The most recent entries were Mirage and Valhalla, with the latter following a live-service model that has been in place for years.
