Baldur’s Gate 3 players are unable to leave camp or take a long rest due to a nasty bug, and this guide has the solution. While it’s not an official fix, it’s more of a temporary workaround and it seems to work. With tons of activities related to Long Rest and camp, you should fix the Can’t Leave Camp bug in BG3 quickly.

Once your game is bugged, you can move around the camp with other characters, but you cannot leave the camp or take a long rest in BG3. The only way to fix this at the moment is to load a quick save or the nearest saved file. Once you load a quick save, you can have a long rest (perhaps triggering the Guardian cutscene) and you will not encounter the Can't Leave Camp bug in Baldur's Gate 3. It may also be a good idea to restart the game from scratch and then load a saved game. At the time of writing, this is the only tip we can give you to fix this issue.

Since Larian Studios has not addressed this issue yet, an official fix is still far away. However, one of the patches or updates could bring a permanent fix for the bug and players will not be stuck in the camp without a long rest in BG3. Additionally, it would be a good idea to contact BG3 Support and give them details about the bug. They might release a patch or update if they continue to receive complaints.
