Don’t want to throw away items with no content, but your inventory is full? Use Baldur’s Gate 3’s add to Wares feature and make a profit from them. Ware is a nice way of saying that this is junk to us. But just because it’s junk doesn’t mean it’s unprofitable. Now, before we go any further, you should remember that you only get money from bartering Wares, not items.

There are four ways to add items to wares. The first way is to right-click on an item and select "Pick-up and Add to Wares". The second way is to go to your inventory and hold down the shift key while selecting the items you want to add to wares. The third way is to right-click on items in your inventory and select "Add to Wares". The fourth way is done at the time of selling, you drag items into the trade box.
Add to wares is essentially marking the items you want to sell via barter. As you continue to explore the vast world, you’ll come across various free resources, meaning it won’t be long before your inventory is overflowing. The quickest solution would be to throw them away, but why would you do that when you can add any number of items to wares and sell them to the merchant in one go using the steps above. Plus, you don’t want to be faced with the Encumbered status, and this is one of the best ways to go about it.
