BeReal is slowly rising in the ranks when it comes to social media platforms. This new viral platform of 2022 focuses on being real as the name suggests and thus allows you to share photos from the front and rear camera at the same time.
How to take two different photos on BeReal (front and rear camera)
BeReal also imposes a two-minute limit on creating a BeReal post to ensure you don’t spend too much time curating and editing your footage. If you’re new to the platform and using an iPhone, you may have noticed that you can’t preview both cameras. Is there a way to get around this limitation? Let’s find out!
Unfortunately, BeReal no longer allows you to preview both your front and rear camera. During the first releases of BeReal, this was indeed a feature, but it was quickly removed from the app with a future update. Previously, Android users could preview both the front and rear camera.
This wasn’t possible on iPhones due to the way third-party apps access the Camera API. Due to these limitations, BeReal could only show you a preview from one camera, as it could only access one camera at a time. Android, however, had no such limitation, allowing Android users to preview their BeReal from both the front and rear cameras.
