While there are a few misfires, most 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves are actually quite comparable to 5-star characters. Stats aside, 4-star characters often have just as unique gameplay mechanics as their 5-star brethren, but the ones listed here are the special cases you should be aware of.

If you’ve been following Wuthering Waves since before its official release, you’ve probably heard that Danjin was a DPS machine in the beta character in the game. Well, she received little to no changes before release, so she’s still one of the best and thus worth building. She’s tough to play well though, as her extreme DPS comes at the cost of health. You’ll be constantly living on the edge if you want to play her effectively. You can get Danjin by picking her up from one of the current banners. She’s currently upgraded to Jiyan’s banner for a higher chance.
