No Pokémon Trading Card Game is complete without a viable Charizard deck. Luckily for those playing Pokémon TCG Pocket, there’s a Charizard-ex deck available that’s pretty strong.
THIS Charizard EX deck is AGGRESSIVELY FAST! – Pokemon Pocket
Granted, while it is popular, that doesn’t make it one of the best decks. That honor still belongs to Starmie ex and a few others. Still, Charizard ex is a great deck to play if you like the deck or want to play something different.
With Charizard ex you mainly want to start with Moltres ex to play setup. You won't be able to win early game, as you mainly want to prepare for late to mid game fights. With Moltres you mainly want to use the first move, Inferno Dance, to stack Fire Energy on your Charizard ex line cards in the backline.
By doing this, you can set up Fire Energy early enough that when you do manage to evolve your Charmander into Charizard, it will have enough Energy to fire off Crimson Storm attacks without having to worry about getting your Energy count back. At 200 damage, Crimson Storm is currently the strongest move in the game, killing anything you can throw at it.
