Unicorn Overlord has a very unique and clever way of implementing this mechanism through Growth Type.
Stat Growth works differently in Unicorn Overlord. Once you check your character details, you will see a series of letters next to your stats (see the image above). Each stat is ranked from E to S, with E having the least stat growth and S having the most stat growth as you level up.
Above the stats you'll also see the Growth type, which allows you to influence stats in such a way that you can effectively ignore ranked E stats or double a character's stat affinity (rank S stat growth).
