The overall fidelity of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth isn’t as sharp as players would like when compared to the Remake on the PS5. According to Digital Foundry, the issue lies with the post-processing effects and anti-aliasing that Square Enix uses, rather than the lower pixel count (i.e. Performance Mode has a pixel count of 1440p while Graphics mode has 4k).
