Square Enix gave us a sneak peek at the FF7 Remake sequel, but the game's lack of visual settings made it difficult for me to find a balance between graphics and performance. Here are the best in-game settings for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that will increase your framerate without sacrificing much visual fidelity.

Since the game doesn't give you many options, we can't do much to tweak graphics, but we work with what we have and we'll make the most of it!
Recommended setting: Performance mode
The overall fidelity of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth isn’t as sharp as players would like when compared to the Remake on the PS5. According to Digital Foundry, the issue lies with the post-processing effects and anti-aliasing that Square Enix uses, rather than the lower pixel count (i.e. Performance Mode has a pixel count of 1440p while Graphics mode has 4k).
