To make your playthrough useful, your first step should be finding the best place to build your house (or base) in Enshrouded. In our opinion, an ideal place to build your home is where you have access to various resources. Not only that, but it should also have a breathtaking view for you to enjoy. Here are a few locations where you can set up your base in Enshrouded.

Below are the top 5 locations where you can build your base in Enshrouded:

This location can be found on the other side of the Braelyn Bridge, just above the Springlands Ancient Spire. Here you will find a pre-built structure that you can use to inhabit your in-game character and the NPCs. In addition, this area has an underground tunnel that you can access at any time. Some spiders spawn in the tunnel regularly, so you can kill them to get an unlimited supply of Critter Parts and String.

Woodgarden is one of my favorite locations in Enshrouded for building a home. This area is located on the western side of the Springlands Ancient Spire (see the image above). Once you get there, you will find an entire village to inhabit. You also get a pre-built farm that provides an unlimited supply of corn and fiber in the game. A disadvantage of this location is that the Shroud is located around it, but given the characteristics you might consider living here.
