The M16 assault rifle is one of the many weapons you can unlock in XDefiant. If you manage to get your hands on this legendary firearm, it's wise to have the best M16 build to get the most out of it.

While conditions vary from match to match, assault rifles are generally the go-to for casual and hardcore players. They work on any range and their firepower makes them an easy option to go for.

XDefiant has some incredibly powerful assault rifles, like the AK-47 and the MCR, but we're focusing on the M16A4 in its classic burst-fire form.

The main thing I find with the M16 is that its bursts are quite accurate, albeit at the cost of some damage output compared to rivals in the category if you miss. As with anything, we can improve it to make sure it doesn’t miss, and if it does miss, it’s not as costly. Remember, you’ll need to unlock the M16A4 before we proceed.
