If you want to be a great Mage in Tarisland, Fire is the way to go. While Ice might give you an edge in the Arena, Fire Mages are probably the better and most powerful choice at the time of writing.

As with most MMORPGs on the market, choosing a Mage in Tarisland means you’ll want to be at the top of the DPS meters. There are two types of Mages: Fire and Ice. Fire is the obvious choice for dealing the most damage. Fire Mages excel at dealing AoE damage, but they’re also pretty good at single-target damage.

Much like Mages in World of Warcraft, Tarisland Mages focus on building up their damage output as much as possible. Early in the game, this means increasing your Intelligence as much as possible, but later on you'll want to focus on increasing your Critical Hit chance and reducing your cooldowns as much as possible. The following table shows all the stats you should prioritize from left (most important) to right (least important).
