Below you will find the optimal configuration that will suit most Rise of the Ronin players, regardless of their experience and skill level. If this exact configuration does not suit you, you can choose the settings you want and combine them with your own.
To access these settings, open the Options menu from the main menu screen or pause the game and select System. I recommend the former, as specific options are only available when you are not in the game world.
First things first. Open the Game Settings menu, go to HUD and turn on the Critical Hit/Assassinate Button. Make sure you also turn on the Damage to Enemies option in the same submenu.
