Sand Land may divide the battle between using your fists or controlling machines, but both require you to master the skills of your party to dominate each situation. Between Beelzebub, Rao, Thief, and Ann, you have a lot of skills to learn, but where do you start?

When you begin your journey through Sand Land, you’ll have limited Skill Points to upgrade Beelzebub’s moves and passive abilities. The same goes for your other party members, who act as assistants that you can summon during battle or use to enhance various gameplay elements, like getting better loot drops. It’s important to know which upgrades are the most useful right away so you can save up your valuable Skill Points, so here’s a guide on where to start for all four characters.

Beelzebub is the character you directly control during your Sand Land adventure. All of his abilities are very simple, as they mainly involve improving his fighting skills.

Unlike the other characters, Beelzebub's abilities unlock new attacks, enhance his skills, or improve the effects of items equipped. You don't have to worry about too many passive options here, but there are still a few important ones you'll want to consider using your skill points for first after your mandatory purchase of "New Finishing Move".
