War Medals are one of the two main resources you'll need to unlock more weapons and armor in Helldivers 2. Playing the game as intended will earn you a bunch of them, but there is a farming method you can use to earn a lot in a relatively short amount of time.
EASY Medals, Requests and XP Farm (Helldivers 2)
The best way to farm War Medals is to do Blitz missions or Defensive missions on Medium or lower difficulty against Terminid enemies. These types of missions last 10-12 minutes at most and can usually be completed before the clock reaches zero. Terminid enemies are also much easier to defeat on lower difficulties and most of them can be shredded with standard gunfire without the need for anti-tank weapons.
Medium difficulty missions give you a good amount of war medals and are quick and easy to complete. If you just want to complete those missions, this is a good option.
