All FF7 Rebirth characters have different skills, cores, and abilities in their evolution. Each of them uses a different fighting style and requires different types of weapons. In addition to the usual fighting stats such as attack and magic attack, each weapon has a unique ability that enhances the character's fighting.

Cloud's supreme sword, Slipstream Saber, maximizes his balance of physical and magical damage. Slipstream Saber's special ability is Counterstance, which allows Cloud to absorb the enemy's attack and then counterattack.
