How often do you check the weather forecast while using your computer? Why open your web browser and search sites like Accuweather or MSN Weather? By using the following best weather widgets, you can view the weather forecast right on your taskbar or Windows desktop.

Note that “widgets” are different depending on which version of Windows you’re using. Widgets went away after Windows 8, but then came back as “Interests” in Windows 10. They’re “widgets” again in Windows 11.

With Interests or Widgets, the information is available via the Windows 10 taskbar, which expands to show more information about the weather.
