If you’ve played any ranked games of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel in the past month, you’ve likely come across the formidable Yubel deck. Here’s our best decklist for the Yubel archetype that you can play in Master Duel right now.
Yubel Deck – MASTER RANK!!! [Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel: Season 32]
This is the Yubel deck that I have been using with great success in Diamond and Master ranked games of Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel since July. Admittedly, it took me a lot of practice games in solo mode before I felt comfortable enough with the basic combos to use the deck in ranked. I am by no means a Yubel expert at this point, but it has become my go-to deck once I started to get the hang of the playstyle and combos.
Anyone familiar with the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime (particularly Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) should at least recognize the name Yubel as one of the show’s main antagonists. But now, many years after GX last aired, Yubel has received a number of new support cards in 2024 that have allowed the archetype to take over Master Duel.
The Yubel archetype consists primarily of Dark-attribute Fiend monsters with no attack (ATK) or defense (DEF) stats. The Yubel monsters—such as Spirit of Yubel, Phantom of Yubel, and Yubel – Terror Incarnate—cannot be destroyed in battle, and you take no damage from battling them. Other monsters such as Samsara D Lotus and Gruesome Grave Squirmer appear to help you summon your Yubel monsters and activate their effects.
