Grammy Award-winning recording artist Billy Porter and two-time Tony Award winner Alan Cumming have joined the production team for Sam Morrison’s one-man show “Sugar Daddy.”
Directed by Stephen Brackett, “Sugar Daddy” chronicles a summer spent in Provincetown, Mass., where Morrison “met the sexy silver zaddy of his dreams, igniting a romance that will last a lifetime. But in the midst of the pandemic, the love of his life tragically died of COVID. Devastated, Sam realized the only way to cope was through comedy. Live on stage. In front of thousands of strangers,” the official logline reads.
