After extensive testing, Bing Deep Search is now officially available to all users. The optional Gen-AI search feature is specifically designed for complex queries and research that traditional “searches” can find difficult to process. To search the web deeply, enter your query into Bing Search and click the Deep Search option next to the field.

Deep Search on Bing is available on all browsers (not just Microsoft Edge) and enables more extensive web exploration. This deeper, richer exploration isn’t as fast as your regular search – understandably – and can take up to 30 seconds depending on the query. The current iteration of Bing Deep Search is still faster than it performed with testers a few weeks ago.
In our tests, Deep Search took an average of 20 seconds, which isn’t much to write home about, especially for general users who want information available within seconds. But for researchers and scientists, this search tool could be just what the doctor ordered, even if it does take some time.
It’s important to note that Bing Deep Search isn’t meant to replace regular searches, but rather to complement them. So if you can’t find what you’re looking for with regular searches, try deep search.
