There's a tidbit in the Modern Warfare 3 Season 5 patch notes that you might have missed if you quickly skimmed the notes for the new game modes and weapons: playing the Black Ops 6 beta will earn you progress toward the Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass.

This is great news for anyone who doesn’t want to miss out on any potential rewards from the Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass. The timer for this will still be ticking as you get used to Black Ops 6’s new omni-movement perks.
We still don’t know exactly what modes, maps, and weapons will be available in the Black Ops 6 beta. Expect the usual, of course, a limited showing of core modes and maps, with a limited selection of weapons.
The early access beta (which you can access by pre-ordering any edition of Black Ops 6), which starts on August 30 and ends on September 4, will likely contain slightly less content than the open beta, which starts on September 6 and ends on September 9.
