If you've ever been tempted by Ahri's pink spells and thought they were a magic spell, only to realize later that they were a normal Q ability and you wasted your Flash, rest assured: you're not alone.

How a League of Legends player sees VALORANT

League of Legends' visual clarity is an ongoing topic of heated debate, with numerous champion cosmetics causing gameplay clarity issues, resulting in confusion and ambiguous interactions. Players shared their frustrations in a June 2 Reddit post, discussing the severity of the issue at length. "I still don't know why Storm Dragon Aurelion Sol has a [blue] ultimate even on enemies," one player said. "I'm lured by the blue indicator for his ultimate even when he's on the enemy team."

The clarity issues don’t stop there, though. A few players have mentioned Ahri’s skins with a pink Q, which can be confusing when she’s using her Charm. Likewise, certain Pantheon skins depict him with his spear as if he’s channeling his Q, leading to confusion when he emerges from a bush. These examples highlight the need for a fix.

Even with newer champions like Hwei, who is already loaded with abilities, clarity takes a back seat with his Winterblessed Hwei cosmetics. “I love how when Hwei released, they gave the different categories of spells he had very different (and beautiful) colors,” one player said. Hwei’s abilities have different colors that indicate what effect they would have on the player: damage, crowd control, or other utility. The Winterblessed skin, however, eliminates that distinction. “I also love how they released him with a skin that literally colors all 11 of his abilities blue,” the player continued.
