Bob began his career in 1996 with the launch of The Mining Company, a large Internet company that was the precursor to About.com. Since then, he has focused primarily on ensuring that reader interests are met in all of the content he publishes.

Before editing content at Lifewire, Bob held various positions at About.com as it transformed from a small startup into a major destination site. He also wrote About.com’s daily newsletter for many years, which reached over a million readers.

In his spare time, Bob started a salacious website that mocked the auto industry.
