myFOXtech Review: Booq Cobra Laptop Backpack
The Booq Cobra Squeeze Backpack is a beautiful backpack in a sleek, lightweight package. But beneath the surface are a bunch of poor design choices, features that aren’t really useful, and a choice of materials that does more harm than good. We lugged the Cobra around through rain and sunshine for over a week. Read on to get the lowdown on this pack and see whether style really can conquer all.
Curved and contoured in a way that makes it look like a sports car, the Booq Cobra is sure to stand out when you’re carrying it. The interior takes a minimalist approach, limiting itself to a controlled color palette, rather than an assortment of crazy colors. The slate gray of the bionic cotton blend on the outside and polyester on the inside work well together, creating a bag with a real sense of style.
Contrary to the aesthetics, the layout of the bag is a bit nonsensical. The two top middle pockets that make up the entire side are actually a bit difficult to unzip due to the aforementioned stylish shape and contours. Furthermore, these pockets are too small to really be useful for anything other than small items.
