"The West Wing" and "Get Out" actor Bradley Whitford recently took to social media to criticize Cheryl Hines for her silence regarding her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., endorsing Donald Trump for president in the upcoming election. RFK Jr. had launched his own presidential campaign but officially withdrew from the race on August 23 and endorsed Trump.

“Hey Cheryl Hines, what a way to stay silent while your insane husband supports the convicted rapist who brags about depriving women of their basic rights,” Whitford wrote on X. “Courage. Great example for the kids. Profile in courage.” Whitford is an avid activist for the Kamala Harris campaign.

Hines herself took to social media after RFK Jr. dropped out of the race to praise his campaign team, writing, "They accomplished feats that were said to be impossible. They collected over a million signatures, more than any candidate in history, and gained access to the ballot box across the country despite the obstacles and lawsuits that were filed against them with the sole purpose of keeping Bobby off the ballots so that no one would even have a chance to vote for him."
