The privacy-focused search engine Brave Search is officially in public beta for anyone to try out.
Brave launches public beta of its search engine with anti-tracking features
Brave claims that its search engine does not collect your IP addresses or your search data. The search engine has its own search index, without relying on other providers, and does not track or profile users.
The company also has its own Brave Browser, but users can still use Brave Search if they use other browsers, such as Safari or Google Chrome. To do so, visit search.brave.com.
“Brave Search is the most private search engine in the industry and the only independent search engine that gives users the control and trust they seek in alternatives to big tech companies,” said Brendan Eich, CEO and co-founder of Brave, in the company’s announcement.
