The pomp and circumstance surrounding Destiny 2: The Final Shape's launch was delayed yesterday by a number of error codes and server issues, but Bungie says it has resolved many of those ahead of the DLC's second day.

The developer says it has "fixed several critical issues that were causing poor stability and significantly reduced the number of 'kick to orbit' errors," as evidenced by the image below, which Bungie posted to Twitter/X on June 5, the day after The Final Shape launched.
"We are closely monitoring player population and will increase server capacity throughout the day to ensure the game remains stable," Bungie said. "As population increases, players may be placed in the queue, but our goal is to get everyone in as quickly as possible."
Players who attempted to log in at launch yesterday were met with a server queue along with various error codes, and were repeatedly kicked to lane for activities like The Final Shape campaign missions on the day of the DLC's highly anticipated launch. The Final Shape is the culmination of Destiny's "Light and Darkness Saga" storyline, which began with the original game's vanilla campaign in 2014. But many were unable to experience it in full thanks to server issues.
