The long-awaited collaboration between Call of Duty and Fallout is here, and it leaves a lot to be desired for both Modern Warfare 3 and Fallout fans.
COD x Fallout Bundle | Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare III
Crossovers like this were inevitable after Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard and merged the company’s CoD with Fallout, made by Bethesda, which is also owned by Microsoft. But if this is the best the teams can muster, there’s bound to be something better in the future.
The highlight of the collab, which leaked a while ago, are operator skins for CoD operators. But the skins are simply the familiar CoD characters wearing Fallout's signature blue Vault-Tec jumpsuits, and nothing more.
There are a ton of other cosmetics in the DLC, but the crossover with missing characters like the Brotherhood of Steel, Ghouls, Super Mutants, or even monsters like the Deathclaw feels like a missed opportunity. It feels especially lackluster considering the Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller Bundle will carry a premium price.
