It’s finally here. Call of Duty is coming to Game Pass, and subscribers on PC and Xbox will be able to download it very, very soon.

But the addition to Game Pass isn’t an older title like Call of Duty 4 or Black Ops 2, as many were expecting. The first CoD game to make it onto Microsoft’s subscription service is the series’ latest, Modern Warfare 3.

Xbox announced the news today in a post on Twitter/X, confirming that MW3 will be launching on Game Pass tomorrow, July 24, alongside the game’s seasonal update. The update will add new weapons, maps, and more across several game modes.

With the new Game Pass tiers, there are some caveats, though. The full MW3 game (campaign, multiplayer, Zombies) will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. For those on the Xbox Game Pass Console tier, it will only include the game’s campaign.
