The game may have fixed its issues with not being able to connect or failing a server request, but like Hydra, fixing one problem leads to another. Recently, many Helldivers 2 players successfully completed missions but still didn’t get any XP, medals or rewards. To make matters worse, it’s not the same for everyone either. Some get very little progress, others are stuck at the same point, while some even lost a level.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing this guide, there doesn’t seem to be a solution for this issue. What we can deduce is that it has to do with server issues. Starting with a case where someone only gets partial XP. Reddit user u/ognop3 said that one of the missions that was supposed to give 600 XP only gave 150.

Another user u/water_frozen said they had no issues with level XP, but medals didn't seem to work for them. While they suggest restarting the game worked for them, other players are finding it doesn't help much.
