After a disastrous launch in 2018, Fallout 76 is finally playable. Numerous patches have fixed the game, and now it’s getting a major expansion, including an updated map. After hearing about the changes, players began wondering if it would also be possible to play as a Ghoul.
Play as a Ghoul in Fallout 76!
I mean, can you really be surprised? After the immense success of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV series, everyone has fallen in love with Ghouls. In fact, they’ve fallen in love with one of them in particular, and that’s none other than Cooper, one of the show’s three main protagonists, played by the impeccable Walton Goggins. If you’re one of those fans of the franchise who’s eager to grow some rotten skin yourself and become the irradiated human, we have some great news.
In short, Fallout 76 players can’t play as a Ghoul in the game, at least not yet. You can’t currently play as a Ghoul in the multiplayer Fallout adventure, and that won’t change anytime soon. A massive expansion called Skyline Valley is coming to Fallout 76 on June 12, and it’s adding a bunch of new stuff. That includes new quests, map expansions, creatures, and, as expected, a new Vault to explore.
The ability to become a Ghoul is unfortunately not one of the extras in the Skyline Valley expansion, but there is hope on the horizon for those who want to play as a Ghoul in the future.
