Since its release, Ready or Not, the intense tactical shooter developed by VOID Interactive, has received more than positive reviews from the community. The multiplayer shooter has even attracted console players, many of whom are questioning whether using a keyboard and mouse is necessary or whether controller support is available. Since Ready or Not has a more complex gameplay, it may take a while for controller-preferred players to get used to everything on the traditional setup.
Play Ready or Not with a controller!
Since the tactical shooter’s console release hasn’t been announced by the developers yet, controller support in Ready or Not might be the best option for now. However, there are quite a few things that players need to keep in mind. So if you want to know if the game has official support, here’s everything you need to know about it.
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Ready or Not lacks official controller support. The game will not be able to recognize your controller for the time being. VOID Interactive has designed the game strictly based on keyboard and mouse input due to its complicated gameplay and features. This way, players can fully enjoy the game.
However, during the alpha phase of Ready or Not, the devs confirmed in one of the FAQs that the studio was planning to include it in the beta. While that is not the case yet, the devs might release the support soon. Since the game has had its first major update after release and the devs are aware of the need for controller support, players can expect the support in the upcoming updates.
