Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG filled with spells to learn and ancient magical secrets to discover. Along your journey, you’ll also unlock Talent Points. Talent Points are used to upgrade your spells, increase your stealth capabilities, and more. This can lead to some tough choices, and you may be wondering if you can respec Talent Points in Hogwarts Legacy.
Which Hogwarts house would you be in?
Yes, you can now re-spec your talents to regain all of your Talent Points in Hogwarts Legacy. Simply head to the Talents section of the main menu and click the Reset All Talents button in the bottom right. Doing so will return all of the Talent Points you’ve spent so far and reset your acquired talents to their default settings.
This handy feature was added with the June 5, 2024 update, which also introduced Photo Mode and the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop quest to all platforms. Previously, once you selected a talent, you were stuck with it unless you loaded a previous save before spending that talent point. Now, you don’t have to think much before spending a point, as you can switch up your character’s abilities at any time. Better yet, you can easily try out different playstyles without having to restart the campaign from scratch.
The maximum level in Hogwarts Legacy is 40, and the player will earn a Talent every level starting at level five. There are currently 48 Talents in Hogwarts Legacy, and with only 35 Talent points available, you cannot obtain every Talent in a single playthrough of Hogwarts Legacy.
