Control Center has seen some of the biggest changes in iOS 18, with a revamp to include multiple pages and customization options. But the change may make it awkward for people who are used to dismissing Control Center the traditional way—swiping up from the center.

In the new Control Center, the swipe up gesture simply takes you to the next Control Center page. While you can still use the swipe up gesture to close Control Center, you'll need to do so very carefully by swiping up from the top or bottom of Control Center.
