“Borderlands” is the iconic shooter video game from Gearbox Software, released in 2009. Lilith, also known as the Firehawk, is their fearless commander who follows her own agenda during the mission. As a siren, she can summon the wings of fire and release a massive burst of energy that kills nearby enemies.

Lionsgate's live-action adaptation follows the original storyline and introduces major updates to our beloved video game characters. Cate Blanchett's Lilith is no exception. As the movie trailer shows, both costume designers and makeup artists worked hard to recreate the Siren's signature grungy style. A worn leather jacket and a pair of heavy guns are Lilith's most recognizable accessories. And those fiery red-yellow locks? A burning flame, indeed!
