The two legacy franchises are among the most recognizable organizations in not just professional league play but all of esports, and with the CBLOL’s sole spot on the line at the Mid-Season Invitational, the stakes for the matchup couldn’t have been higher. Ultimately, it was LOUD who defeated PaiN by a score of three games to two. The victory for LOUD marked the team’s fourth consecutive CBLOL title. All four of LOUD’s consecutive championship streaks dating back to 2022 have ended with a Grand Finals victory over PaiN. In subsequent international tournaments, however, LOUD holds a 6-14 record in individual games dating back to the 2022 World Championship.
