Adobe Photoshop offers several tool options for using guidelines and creating symmetry in your documents. One of the most basic is the ability to center images and text that are on layers in the document.
Before you can find and mark the center of a Photoshop document, you need to enable Rulers and Snap to Guides, or check to see if they are already enabled.
Open an existing file or create a new document via File > New.
To enable the rulers, select View from the menu bar and then click Rulers.
