The answer to “wedding reception centerpieces” is CAKES. I found this odd because I had never seen mini cakes as centerpieces at weddings. At my own wedding, we had one large cake on the head table for everyone to see. Often, it is just a decorative cake and the actual, edible cake is in the kitchen where it is cut and served to the guests. So, even though I have been married and had a wedding reception, I found this clue difficult. I can understand why some people would have a hard time with it.
