When you create a new PowerPoint presentation, the default font used in the template you chose may not be the look you want for your slideshow. Whether it's the title, subtitle, or bullet list, you have the option to change the fonts for any or all of these text formats. Then, you don't have to change the font every time you add text to a slide, and when you add a new text box, you don't have to change the font.
How to Change the Default Font Size in PowerPoint Text Box
It is possible to change fonts on each slide individually, for example dimming some text to make other text bolder, but this can be time-consuming. Save time and make a global change to your current presentation using the Slide Master. To achieve this:
In the Master Views group, select Slide Master. A new tab called Slide Master will appear.
A set of slides appears in the Slide pane of the Master view. The top slide is called the slide master. To change fonts, select a text box.
