Set Default Margins in Word | Change Default Margins in Word 2010, 2013, 2016
If you use the same margins in most of your Word documents, you can set default margins once for each new Word document you create. This post will show you how to set your default margins for Word 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016.
The procedure for setting default margins in Word 2007 through Word 2016 is the same, except for aesthetic design changes over the years. To set default margins, click the Page Layout tab.
Click the Margins button and select Custom Margins from the drop-down menu.
