All free ChatGPT users now have access to DALL-E 3 and can generate up to two images per day. With access to the DALL-E 3 image model, anyone can now command ChatGPT to generate images. The company took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce free access to ChatGPT’s image generation capabilities.

DALL-E was first introduced in September last year and is now one of many exclusive ChatGPT Plus features that have also become available to free users over time.
It’s easy enough to use: just ask ChatGPT to create an image and it will do the rest. If you’re not happy with the creation, click ‘Regenerate’. To download the image, hover over it and click the down arrow.
You will also see a 'suggested prompt' to generate images on the new chat page. Users can generate images even if they are not logged in or have a 'Temporary chat', which is ChatGPT's incognito mode.
