When writing a long-term paper, business manual, or other lengthy document in Word, it's nearly impossible to avoid hyperlinks. Hyperlinks to relevant web pages can make a document's content more powerful.
The problem is that the longer the document, the harder it is to do a final check of every hyperlink before submitting a document to the powers that be. A dead link can be a major embarrassment!
Additionally, if you have received a document from someone and need to check all the links, it can be a time-consuming task.
