Chris Abell is a Senior Commerce Editor at Dotdash Meredith. He has worked at travel companies large and small, including Travel + Leisure, where he was Editorial Producer, and walkli, where he was Co-Founder and Director of Content. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and received his Masters in Creative Writing from Dartmouth College. He joined Dotdash Meredith in 2021 and lives in Boston with his family.

Chris has been a professional writer and editor for almost a decade, and has spent most of that time working in the travel industry. He was an Editorial Producer at Travel + Leisure, where we wrote and edited content, helped build the website and newsletters, and assisted with web production. He later co-founded and helped grow the travel startup walkli into a revenue-generating company. He has also written for a variety of publications, including The Points Guy, Thrillist, and more.

Chris completed a bachelor's degree at the College of the Holy Cross and a master's degree in Liberal Studies at Dartmouth College, with a focus on writing.
